What is NLIST: Online e-journal resource?

• N-LIST stands for "National Library and Information services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content". This is funded by UGC, as a college component under the UGC e-ShodhSindhu Consortium.

• From INFLIBNET UGC Website the users can download scholarly articles required by them directly from the publisher’s website.

• The NLIST project provides access to more than 6,000 e-journals and 1,35,000+ e-books and one database. It is an initiative of Union Human Resource and Development Ministry, Govt. of India

Library Collections

The library has a rich collection of books and journals in the field of Commerce, Arts & Science on different subjects including reference books. The subjects include Bengali, Commerce, Economics, Education, English, Environmental Studies, Geography, Hindi, History, Journalism, Mathematics, Physical Education, Political Science, and Information Technology. Total collections including text books & reference books are 18,000 (approx.) up to financial year 2015-16.
